Slough Trading Estate owner SEGRO has extended its partnership with grounds maintenance specialist Royal Warrant holder Burleys until 2020.
The company will continue to provide high quality grounds maintenance, tree works and landscape improvement at the largest trading estate in Europe for a further two years.
The extended contract will also see Burleys work on several corporate social responsibility projects, provide more vehicles and machinery with green credentials, including further electric vehicles and develop its existing apprentice programme and local work opportunities for people living in the Slough borough.
Burleys contract manager Neil Arnold says the agreement, with Europe’s leading provider of flexible business space, will reflect the continuing needs of the estate.
Slough Trading Estate is home to many of the world’s most successful international companies in sectors such as telecoms, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, automotive, IT, R and D, logistics, data centres and food processing, with Mars, Telefonica O2, Ferrari, UK Mail, Lanes Group and UCB among those with premises there.
