Burleys and TCL Group head office staff rolled up their sleeves to help out at a community day in Leicester for social housing provider PA Housing recently.
The team joined other contractors in Upper Temple to help out at the event which was aimed at bringing the community together and enabling residents to have their say on any property issues.
Not only did the Burleys contingent sponsor the day’s refreshments, they also got their hands dirty clearing an overgrown recreation area.
Burleys has been looking after the communal outdoor areas of a number of PA Housing developments, encompassing thousands of homes, across Leicester, Nottinghamshire, London and the South for the past two years.
Burleys contract manager Joe Fowler said: “It’s great that TCL Group supports projects where we can give back to the community. We all had a rewarding day in which everyone involved made a real difference. The icing on the cake for me was when PA Housing’s CEO said the area had never looked so good.”
Other colleagues taking part in the day were Burleys team leaders Malcolm Fairall and Renee Parkinson, operatives John Heathcote and Andrew Belton, and head office support Rachel Bell – Little and Katy Pearson.
