Royal Warrant holder, grounds maintenance experts Burleys joined a team from property management specialist JLL recently to tidy up the grounds of a residential centre in North London for people with multiple health needs.
And the hard work of those taking part was praised by the charity which runs the care home.
The Westminster Society, which provides support for children, young people and adults with complex needs and profound and multiple disabilities, runs a number of day centres and residential properties across Westminster and the surrounding boroughs to support individuals and their families.
The home at which the Burleys and JLL tidy up took place provides residential accommodation and independent flats for people with multiple diagnoses, such as learning difficulties, dementia and epilepsy.
Burleys staff Paul Dobson, Darren O’Driscoll, Peter Griffin and John Richards joined the JLL crew in tidying up the internal courtyard and landscaping at the front of the building, and added to its fresh new look with new plants and bark mulch.
Charity team manager Benita Clarke said: “You went above and beyond what we asked you to do and we are all delighted with the results. It was a real pleasure having your team working here. We certainly recommend your service very highly.”
The day was organised with the help of The Paddington Partnership, which supports businesses in the area to volunteer with charities and schools in the community.
