Fast-track Build of Winning Landscape Design by tcl for Crest Nicholson

Landscape specialist tcl won the installation contract of a new sales and marketing area based on their innovative design for Crest Nicholson. Tcl, a specialist landscape installation business that creates show home gardens and natural play areas for the country's leading house builders, was selected after a competitive design pitch because its ideas fulfilled Crest Nicholson's brief for Hardy’s Gate, West Dartford. The brief was to deliver an, “aspirational, high impact and eye-catching landscaping scheme to draw in people passing by.” Tcl ‘s design and finished landscaping is aimed at creating a feel-good factor for potential buyers of the 2 bedroom coach houses and 2, 3 & 4 bedroom family homes. Tcl’s landscaping is designed for them see it as a pleasant area in which to live.

Deadline driven

Tcl flexibly rescheduled their programme to ensure everything was ready for Crest Nicholson's open day launch on May 22. The mature planting by tcl creates all-year-round interest with evergreen shrubs and a continually changing display of flowers to be attractive to potential homebuyers at all times.

Speaking at the handover, Crest Nicholson sales and marketing manager, Sophie Fitzgerald said, "Hardy’s Gate, Dartford is an aspirational development, located in West Dartford with a mix of properties to suit all homebuyers. The look and feel of the development is an important part of our marketing, of which the landscape scheme was a key part. We wanted to create a sense of arrival with a quality product and finish, whilst demonstrating a good use of space in the rear gardens. The tcl team put together a scheme that was perfect for what we were trying to achieve. Tcl were excellent at understanding what we wanted and delivering the scheme to our deadlines, having just launched, the feedback on the design was excellent. We look forward to working with them again on future schemes across our region."
